State of Thundering Rhino Entertainment
Topic: News
Thundering Rhino Entertainment has long sought to establish itself as a presence in the online entertainment community.
That progress is sometimes slow. Sometimes virtually undetectable.
Thundering Rhino Entertainment projects have experienced exciting periods of growth, discouraging periods of decline, but at the heart of the situation: a surprisingly loyal fan base.
As we near the end of 2004 and approach 2005, it must be noted that this year has been a good one for the company.
Thundering Rhino Entertainment is closer than ever to being an officially licensed business as opposed to an official sounding alias.
Our main project, the Johnalism.com franchise, expanded from one blog to two with the addition of johnalism.mindsay.com.
Thundering Rhino Entertainment has made technological advances as well. Previously, we were limited in what entertainment and content we could provide. We had only the use of borrowed computers, and much of our work was done on computers at Marshall University.
Although Marshall University computer labs are still where the bulk of our online content is produced, we have made technological upgrades of our own. In the past three months we have purchased a quality JVC camcorder and what has proven to be a dependable IBM ThinkPad laptop.
The camcorder opens the door to allow us to venture into an area we've wanted to go for a long time: home entertainment.
The Great Show with John Allan is now closer to being reality as opposed to wishful thinking. Movie shorts, mockumentaries and possibly sitcoms or just other comedic bits are conceivable with the addition of this new equipment.
Our new laptop is expected to play a vital role in the production of a new book we're hoping to release early next year.
Thundering Rhino Entertainment will continue to strive to bring quality content to our loyal consumers. We thank you for your support, and hope you will continue to support us in the future.
